A few days ago I was eating lunch went to the kitchen and my pc had rebooted not by me. Ever since the thing has run very slow, and seems like loads of things are running.

When it started up, my symantec had the msg pop up saying "Live Update Warning! There is not enough disk space to install all available updates. Click 'Yes' for help on freeing up disk space." There was 72G free just before the pc rebooted, with about 35G in the recycle bin. Now only 1 file in the recycle bin and I've gotten several different sized free when I go to my computer to see properties of c drive. I've gotten 72G, 44g, 0 space and a few others.

I ran Malwarebytes, Ad-aware, and Avast in safe mode, all of which said it found something, and I needed to reboot to let it work at start up, but none actually came back on when windows started.

Stored videos/music run VERY slow, if I type something in the google chrome search bar and hit enter, most of the time nothing happens. The strangest thing seems to be that the longer it runs the slower it gets... Usually Ican figure this stuff out but this one is driving me crazy! Thanks in advance!!!

    John

BTW I'm running Vista 64 personal, and have a 300G hd with 4G ram.

I downloaded combofix like I saw in a forum post, and changed the name, and now I'm getting a new icon in the system tray saying, I don't have enough free space on the disc and to click to remedy that.

Now when I try to open any new programs, I get "There is not enought space on the disk." But I have 71G available...
