Back in February, you helped me rid my computer of some nasty hijackers and security problems. Since then, however, I've been having a problem that I think might be related to the security modifications I've installed. After installing Spy Bot Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware, Spyware Guard and Spyware Blaster, as well as all my most current critical updates, I have begun to get a window pop up on Internet Explorer (6.0) that says "mainAutomation server can't create object" (along with the icon in the title of this thread), each time a browser window opens. Most gifs such as avitars and the animations on e-greeting cards refuse to work, also. The origional thread regarding my initial problem is Malicious Dialer http://forums.techguy.org/showthread.php?t=201221&page=1&pp=15 .Have I done something wrong, or failed to do something while initializing the spyware programs that might have caused this problem? If this needs to be in another forum, please just let me know. Thank you! :)

Certainly not a problem with the security applications you were advised to install....The problem seems to have to do with third party add ins for IE......
Try disabling java Script......ActiveX and other plug ins and re-enabling them one at a time until you find the problem.
    ;)
