This is more just curiosity than necessity, but I have not been able to run MME very well at all on any system I've tried.

    The requirements:
133 MHz Pentium II or faster (166 recommended)
    32 MB RAM
30 MB Available Hard Disk Space
    4x CD-ROM or faster
    640x480 display, 24-bit or more
DirectX 6.1 compatible sound and video cards.

The systems I've tried to run it on:
    Sempron 2300+
    512 MB RAM
    35 GB available HDD
    52x CD
    Display and sound conditions met.

    Also:
    AMD K6-2 500
    192 MB RAM
    12 GB HDD
    etc.

    Also:
    Pentium II 233
    48 MB RAM
    5 GB HDD
    etc.

Not a one of them will run the game at a decent quality. All of them have some audio distortion. And it can't be my copy of the game, because I've got two. :p

And they run the original fairly well, so it's not that either.

    Any random ideas?
