i'm now using my cousin's notebook (acer travelmate 345T).

it seems old and slow... and low in specs.

what i like though about this notebook is it's slim and really small compared to other new notebooks and is handy too... and of course, it has "SENTIMENTAL VALUE".

is there a way that i could upgrade the hardware of this notebook so it can work much better?

    tips greatly appreciated. thank you.

Not substantially. Depending on how much memory it has, you may be able to improve performance by adding memory.
