notebook power monitor gone

    I'm cleaning up my old laptop [Sager] for sale and somehow manged to lose the icon monitoring power for the battery - seems like a simple problem but I can't find it! any ideas?

    I believe the option is under the Power Settings/Options applet in the Control Panel for most version of Windows. Or you disabled it or the system tray in MSCONFIG you you were configuring things there.
