notebooks to desktop

    can i read my notebook's hard drive with my Desktop if I connect the notebook's HD as slave in my Desktop?

    Yep . . you will have to use either an adaptor or a external enclosure case since they are different sizes . .

    Do I need both or just either one I mean I do not mind to buy both if I need to

    Either one . . not both. The enclosures work a little smoother because you use the USB port and do not risk the pc trying to boot from the added disk
