run hijackthis, tick all below, doublecheck to make sure you haven't missed any, close all browser windows & press fix checked

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MSConfig] C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\MSConfig.exe /auto

O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [Configuration Loader] SERVlCES.exe

then do an online virus scan at one of the following sites
http://security.symantec.com/default.asp?
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/

the msconfig entry shouldn't be running at start up & the services.exe entry is likely to be one of the current batch of worms infesting the net at the moment

Don't mean to jump in here but I'm curious. The "NT Authority" message, is that the exact word for word message you get? If not, what does it say word for word and when does this message appear?
