I am trying to install office 2000 on a windows NT 4.0 work station and am getting the error message

Installing this product requires Administrative previleges on systems running this version of Windows.

This is a network I have at home that I am learning on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When the computer boots up, you have to log into it with a username and password. The one you are using does not have administrator rights. When you installed NT, it should have created an Administrator account and you had to enter a password. Use the username: administrator and use the password that you have it. Then try to install the program. While your there, give yourself administrator rights for you won't have to do this again. I'm not near an NT PC, and I forgot where the users are, but I'm sure someone can instruct you where it is - or you can fool around and figure it out.

    Hope this helps!
