I have a Dell Inspiron 9400/E1705 with Windows XP MCE.

I found a virus today on two of my files. The first one I found made my window hang for awhile and after removing it, I had to restart my computer. Now, my winamp crashes with an error under ntdl.dll and I'm having other problems with my computer, which probably is related.

From what I know, ntdl.dll is a system file and the only way I could fix it is through the Windows XP CD. However, I have a Dell e1705 laptop with 2002 Media Center Edition and since I never got a recovery CD from Dell, I'm not sure how I can fix this problem. I've tried using my friend's 2005 Media Center Edition CD/my own Windows XP Home edition and ran sfc /scannow but it tells me to insert the CD.

I've emailed Dell to send me a recovery CD, however, I'm not sure if that'll fix the problem and I'm seeking other solutions. Any help is greatly appreciated.
