    Number Games:

    1) Think of a number.
    2) double it.
    3) add 4.
    4) divide by 2.
    5) take away the first number that you thought of.
    6) the answer is and always will be 2!!

    *****************************************************************

Think of a number. double it. add 8. add 2.
now take away 4. halve it. now take away the
number you first thought of. "3 is always the answer"

    *****************************************************************

This is the one I like best so see how true it is for you.
    --------------------------------------------------

Add the number of pets that you have. Double that number.
Add 3. Multiply by 5. Now add the Brothers and Sisters that
you have. Take away 15. Your answer will be a 2 Digit number.
The left number will be the number of Pets, and the one on the
right is the number of Brothers and Sisters.

    *****************************************************************

    1) Remove 15 cards from a regular deck and deal them
face up into 3 piles. Each pile will contain 5 cards.
    2) Ask a friend to choose 1 card, but not to tell you
which one it is. Just the pile that it's in.
    3) Gather the cards, one pile at a time and again deal them
into 3 piles going across. Your friend should tell you which
    pile the card is in.
    4) Repeat step 3.

    ___Secret___

When you pick up the cards from the 3 piles, always put the pile
that the card your friend picks in the center. The chosen card
will always be the Third or Middle card in the pile.

    LadyLisa,

Yea they all work and it's cool the way ir works.
Thanks that was a cool Pong game.
Now you can only watch the game right?
After about 4 min. I had to close it down because it was to much for this PC of mine. It was taking 100% of my CPU to load and play. So was very slow.
Will try again when I get my new PC.

Yeah the stuff from the first post is good... I like the card one... I used to use that one all the time when I was little. Funny though... I always thought that I made it up myself... I guess great minds must work alike.

One more... (its from my wacked Calc II prof... he is weird... he does this stuff in class instead of calc II stuff:confused: :D )

    1.) think of a #

    2.) multiply by 2

    3.) add 5

4.) add the amount of change in your pocket

5.) multiply by 100, then give me the number and I'll give you your age... (maybe some of you won't want to give me your number...:D )

ok now I will go and try to remember the solution as to figuring out the age... I know I forgot something... I'll be back in a few...

Oh well, scratch that last one... I don't remember how it went. The final number was 4 digits. The first two were your age, and the last two was the amount of change in your pocket. Maybe I will remember some day, but by then it won't matter. It came out right everytime though... maybe someone else has come up with something similar... who knows. :( :D

    LadyLisa,

I will get it in two days. It was build last week and he test it out a week before you get it.
So as soon as I get it and get the programs on it I will be flying with a new AthlonXP-1800 with 256 DDR memory and 64MB DDR NVIDIA Geforce 2 GTS Pro, AGP 4X Graphics card.
That is better then the P-200, 96 memory and 2MB video I have now don't ya think.

    deuce_mn,

Ok if you how to answer now then here is my number.

    1000

    So how old am I?

See ya gave up im the next post.
I bet it is like the one above with the pets and Brothers and Sisters.

Well, "dazed and confused" or not, I still am no Miss Cleo... k man? ;) :D Haha, well, I'm not the one who came up with that number game. The reason I don't remember it was one day in class we were doing absolutely nothing all class and I dozed off, and I woke up to my prof doing that number game and an endless sequence of magic tricks...

yeah, in the end it turned out to be a huge solicitation to get people to join his "society of professional magicians" He is bizarre, but he is still cool. I kinda like getting an extra day off not to seldomly. We usually end class early, which is early to begin with (classes are only 50 min) :D

I think you are right... it probably is just like the pets and brothers and sisters. Maybe I will have to ask Dr. Forman tomorrow how it went. (I wonder if I should tell him I don't remember it because I was sleeping:D :D ) Accoring to the way he did it, you would be 10 years old with 0 cents. This stuff was always fun to play with.

Hewee... I had a very similar computer (but a little slower) and a few months ago I put together a P4 1.5 Ghz with 128 mb RDRam (soon to be 384 mb) running Win Me (yuk!) and a 100 GB 7400 RPM WD Caviar HD, 64 mb DDR Raydoen AGP 4x, Sound Blaster Audigy Platinum, 52x cdrom, 3Com 10/100 ethernet, and also on the way (coming soon with the RDRam) is a Yamaha 24x10x40 CD-RW, 250mb Zip, Sony 16x DVD-Rom (maybe a DVD-RW if I get that job at Best Buy before I ship off to college) and a Logitech Cordless Freedom Keyboard and Cordless Optical Mouse. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. I have died and gone to heaven! The old one was 133Mhz MMX with 48mb SDRam with a 2.1 GB HD... and that was it. It rarely finished big tasks... it would just simply forget about it and move on. It had ISA slots for crying out loud!
