I had to upgrade my display drivers (long story) for my TNT Vanta 64pci graphics card, so I went to Nvidia and found they changed the whole system so now its just one (very large) driver for all their graphics cards. Anyway, its called detenatorXP, and after downloading it, I tried to install it and got this message:

Setup was unable to locate the detected device's PCI ID in NVIDS.CFG. The installation will be terminated.

So now my computer doesn't seem to know what to do, its distorted on start up so I have to run this game and quit from it straight back to desktop to get it back to normal. Is there another driver I can get from a different site, or does anyone know how to fix that error?

This is probably gonna be a stupid question, but does Windows9x mean Windows95?

I downloaded a .zip file from that site, but it opened up with a load of files instead of the .exe i was expecting, and now it won't load up the page to download the .exe versions of the drivers. Does anyone know how to get these files to work?

Just unzip the file to a folder, go to display properties, settings, advanced, adapter, change, follow the prompts until you see the have disk button, browse to the folder you unzipped the drivers to, should install fine.
