I think my gfx card is dieing, might be the mobo or something for all i know about computer hardware.
I can go from using windows -> ubuntu no problem.
If I try to boot into windows after ubuntu it'll act like I didn't have a card in, or there were no drivers present, I'll get a white screen at the login page and if I manage to get past that it asks me to install drivers for the card. restarting usually fixes this. I can go windows -> windows no problem.
If I try to go ubuntu -> ubuntu I'll get a few errors about unable to allocate resources or whatever then it'll end up showing a black screen with the text "radeon x700 rialto atombios". Restarting doesn't seem to fix this.

Would downloading/reinstalling the latest windows drivers and/or installing fglrx for ubuntu help anything?

While I'm here I might as well mention that I sometimes get "no disk in drive A" when loading windows(I think this happens other times too, but I can't remember any specific occurences), while correct, i don't see why it should be accessing drive A.

I'm going to jump back into Ubuntu now (had to restart for updates etc)
