I have an intermittent problem with OE and email headers.

On one of the websites that I run we have a php script that manages form submissions. This sends an email to an OE account.

The problem is that when that email gets processed by OE it strips the header out and places it in the email body.

Here's the confusing bits;

1) The OE account processes all other emails correctly

2) If the emails are collected via OE on a different machine the headers are correct

3) We also use a mailing software (Groupmail) that also, when processing just these emails from the php script, strips the header out and places it in the email body.

I don't know if it's relevant but I'm using Windows XP Home on the PC in question. The other PC that I have tested this on is running XP Office.

Any ideas ??????

Thanks

Hi cakey

On the computer in question, have you tried creating a new Identity in Outlook Express, making it the default Identity, to see if the same behavior occurs?

Are you using Outlook 2002 to receive the messages? Or, just noting that Office XP is installed on the machine as well?

We're using Outlook Express. XP Home is the operating system.
