Believe me I have searched TSG, Google, MS and others, but I have yet to find a solution to Outlook Express print sizing.
'Read' and 'Compose' in OE Tools > Options had no effect at the printer.
I even opened IE (yuk) and tried a suggested fixes there to no avail.
Canon sent me off to MS but the link provided did not help.
Is there a guarenteed solution to this problem?
    Please help.

    Brian.

Bernado, thanks for the quick reply.
Basically go to TSG, Google, MS etc and look at the 1st ten on each page. I've tried them all.
I even changed the question around to try & get some new answers.
A lot of the fixes turned out to be other than the actual print an email problem.
Not to denigrate TSG, any of the 'Solved' 'print too small' fixes I found dealt with other than my case.
So if a fix is somewhere in the system I am yet to find it.

Bernado, sorry, old mate, I overlooked the fix link you included.
However when I carried out the instructions, including 'Largest' nothing changed.

Let's get you moved out of hardware and into Web/email section. That may get us some better ideas. I'll report the thread and ask for a move.

    Hi brianml

Nothing is guaranteed, especially if it is free. ;)

Outlook Express uses the same print engine as Internet Explorer, adjust the text size in Internet Explorer.
    View > Text Size

What version of Internet Explorer are you using?

I don't use IE,(or sure of its version,I think 7) but it is installed and on Auto Update. I have just checked and it is up to date.
Text size is on 'Largest' but does nothing for OE printing.
The home page which IE opens to is ginormous of course, but as I use Mozilla it is not a worry.
    Thanks for your interest,
    Brian.

Pixma IP 3000. I have asked Canon and they shunted me off to Microsoft. So they were no help.
Maybe you know something Canon doesn't
    Thanks,
    Brian

I'm wondering what will happen if you uninstall the printer. Reboot, then reinstall it?

I had several Canon printers over the years. I won't purchase that brand again. ;)

Is this a new printer? If so what brand did you have prior to that and did you uninstall the drivers?

CT, I have this printer for years and no other brand. You may ask why the fuss about print size?
It is like this! She who must be obeyed is not into computers, no problem there, but when given an email to read (paper) complains that without her spectacles she is unable to see it.
Now that I have some time to spare I have decided to see if it is possible to increase the font size.
There must be a way if only we can find it.

With regards to Canon, I was in Penang, Malaysia, recently and had to go to a professional
for some photographic printing to be carried out. To my surprise and delight I saw he had Pixma iP3000 printers all over the place. The portrait I had done came out perfectly. I was quite pleased with myself for having a printer that is good enough for a professional.

If a fix cannot be found in the next couple of days I will close the discussion and any mail I want to show herself will be on screen or saved, then enlarged for her benefit.

I hate to be beaten by a FRED. ( Effen rediculous electronic device).

    Brian.
