I am trying to run Office 2000 on 350mghtz ibm clone computer running Windows 98. I originally had office 97 installed and then put on office 2000. About 4 months ago everytime I went to run any office 2000 program I began to receive error message, "This application must be installed to run. Please run setup from the location where you originally installed the application." Since I could not find the disk, I just removed Office 2000 and reinstalled Office 97 which worked just fine. I have just purchased another copy of Office 2000. I removed Office 97 and installed Office 2000. And guess what? I receive the same error message. I have tried removing and reinstalling, I have tried fixing, I have tried custom. I have tried just about everything. Please help! Thanks!
