    Hello all,

A quick question. To load and use office 2000 on windows XP Home edition do you need to have the CD key? From my limited knowledge of what i have heard, XP will allow you to use the software 50 times, but then will lock you out of it unless you have registered it. When you register it, do you need the CD key of the office 2000?

Actually... I believe that officeXP still requires CDkey to install (can not finish install without it), then you can use it ~50 times before you *activate* it.
I don't think office 2k requires activation... But it does require a CDkey.
