I found a website http://www.windows7download.com that has a free download of Office 2003. Is this legitimate? The site has a green WOT rating, but a free Office download seems too good to be true. Anybody have experience with this site?

I'd say 'nope'. That site would appear to have ALL of ms's software.

Thanks. In spite of the WOT rating, I was pretty sure the site was not legitimate.

I've removed the link so as not to give them any publicity.

The links on that site are OK
it isn't a full version of office, but the download of office 2003 sp3 update

the actual links goes to the Microsoft site to download it .
I have checked a few of the links that look suspicious and they all go to the developer/company that makes & sells the programs download page

It is just a bit of slightly confusing marketing, with many of the links to paid for programs are affiliate links. ( nothing wrong with affiliate links, providing the site make it clear that you have to pay for it & the software isn't free. this site does appear to do that )

If you look at most downloads, these are generally FREE, if you read carefully the download is free but the software isn't.

They can't make you pay for the downlaod but for the software.

In view of the above, I've restored the link in the initial post.
