I have a Windows 7 (Home Premium Edition) laptop which came with pre-installed Office 2007 Trial version. In order to install Office 2007 full version, I have already uninstalled the trial version using the steps provided in Microsoft support site (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971179). Now when I tried to run setup.exe to install Office 2007, I am getting the error message "The language of the installation package is not supported by your system". I am not sure why this error pops out... could anyone please help me to fix this? Thanks.

Did you use the FixIt appliaction on the site?
    What's the language?
Have you consulted the Microsoft site?
Couldn't you simply have updated you trial version?
searching the Microsoft site gave me the following link
    http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/...language/84b91b80-985b-e011-8dfc-68b599b31bf5

So I suggest you troublesheeet here and since you have a legal version you can always contat Microsoft support

silly question, both OS and Office you're trying to install are English-US version, right?
