Although Outlook is working OK, it is taking forever to load new emails, up to 20-30 seconds for just one simple text message.

When I click on Send/Receive All Folders, it does the usual syncing thing on the bottom toolbar but then nothing happens for the above times.

I have sent myself a text message containing ONE letter but it again takes far too long arrive and then quite often a whole bunch of them turn up out of the blue!

I ran the MS Support and Diagnostic Tool but - as expected - to no avail!

It did say however that I had "Multiple Profiles" for my Outlook Account, so I took a snip of the message and is attached herein.

I've got a very fast internet connection if that is any help?

    Any advice much appreciated!

Do you have the setting to stay logged in to Microsoft using your MS account, this is at File, Accounts?

How many Email accounts do you have set up in Outlook?
Are they POP and/or IMAP type?

How many other devices are connected to your router?
    Who is your internet provider?

Many thanks for the reply Dave!

OK, I'm permanently signed into my MS Account.

I have just the one Email Account set to default

    IMAP

Only my wife's laptop to the router.

ISP is Bigpond Australia. Download 36 mps and upload 5 mps

This is only a fairly new issue with the woefully slow inbox loading, haven't had it before and nothing "new" done to the PC running Win10 and Office 365 for years.

Not the end of the world but just annoying. I run Malwarebytes, Defender and Glaries Utilities all to keep the nasties out, I hope!

Since my last update to Office 365, I have noticed that it is a bit slower than it was before.
Most of my accounts are not IMAP, but POP, and I have 4 email addresses setup in it.

Thought I had this fixed but the beast has returned yet again .....!

    I run Win10 with Office 365 Suite and it's Outlook email .......................

So, when I click on the Send/Receive All Folders icon, up pops the usual menu telling me it is doing it's sending/processing/syncing thingo e.g. 1 of 2 Tasks Have been Completely Successfully but then it shuts off before this process has been completed and of course nothing in the INBOX.

Click on the same Icon and now it says 6 of 7 Tasks etc etc. and again shuts down with nothing in the INBOX.

I thought Outlook automatically went out and "looked" for email without my having to manually ask for it?
Not 100% sure on that one though ......but I know my iPad4 does using the same Outlook if that's any use?

I've run the REPAIR option under Account settings, checked everything is as it should be, get told its all hunky-dory and has been successfully repaired, but it's not, still the identical problem!

But now the bit that muddies the water ........ if I create a Test email to myself, it sends it fine and then when I click on the Send/Receive icon, the INBOX gets rapidly filled will all the 6-7 tasks it has been struggling with as above!

Just doesn't make sense to me, and oh yeh, I have run the useless MS Inbox Repair Diagnostic Tool that said it "doesn't have a solution to this problem!"

    Any advice much appreciated!

I've merged your new thread into this one. Please do not start more than one thread for the same issue.
