I tried to install Office 97 on my computer. I have Windows XP. I keep getting the message Setup cannot access the required initialization file 'C:\Progra~\MICROS~4\Office|Setup\ACME.LST'.
I try to remove Office 97 from the computer, but it shows this message.

I went to Program files and deleted the Microsoft Office file, and removed the program Office 97. I think when 97 trys to install it is conflicting with word 2000 I have on the computer
