Office XP

    All my programs in office xp, rather it's a new document or previously saved one, have the following message "This command is not available becuase the document is locked for edit". I do not have any hidden tmp files in "my document" folder.

    Thanks in advance for your help on this matter.

    Note: The programs were working fine, then stopped working.

    Hi - any more info? Does it run ok with a new file? Have you got full install? Have you tried to run Appplication recovery and silly as it might sound - have you activated Office. Please post anything else which might help.

    Or try the Windows Knowledge Base for that particular problem.
