Ok, another question...this is about doing a backup

I don't seem to have the backup utility on my machine, and my Win98SE disk doesn't have it either. For some odd reason, the Microsoft Download site doesn't have it. Norton has some sort of backup that uses the A: drive.

I need to do a backup on my CD-R...

Hi chris in va,
Have you looked in start, programs, accessories, system tools?
Look in control panel, add/remove Select windows components, look in there to see if it is there If it is and not checked ckeck it to install it.

Also if you have a cd burner, which it seems that you do, just use your burner software and backup your files to it.

Yeah, I tried doing the add/remove thing and checking 'backup', but it's not installed on the computer. I can't believe the Microsoft site doesn't have it...
