    I was just curious how long a post with no activity stayed on the server . I was going through my subscribed theads and there are 2 pages.

    They are never deleted, but old posts are occasionally moved into "Archives"
    I think random does get cleared sometimes.,

    I just checked. The oldest Random post is 8/22/99.

    Maybe it doesnt then.

    It does still have posts refering to it as General Opinions and Comments.

    I think forums that get cleaned out on occaision have "archives", like the tech forums.

    What I do on Random is I have a folder in favorites called AA-Latest Posts and enter them there for easy access. The AA is to force it to the top of favorites.

    When they kind of die out I delete them to keep the number down.
