The system that I'm using now has been jitteriing(the screen), the mouse right clicks and moves\opens things, the pointer scrolls down the scren without any assistannce from me, not recognizing the keyboard and mouse at times.

I know it's 'bout time to get another one but can someone help me... it all I got! :(

    HI alnotsure

Has your computer seen a lot of work ?

Do you have a wheelmouse - maybe the wheel is sticking ?

Is the keyboard plugged in firmly ?

Maybe the keyboard would benefit from being taken apart and cleaned out (carefully) ?

    And would you also

Please post your startup list by doing the following :-

Please go here and download startuplist 1.51 :-

    http://www.lurkhere.com/~nicefiles/

Download to any folder or your desktop
    Unzip the zipfile
    Double click the exe file
go to Edit - select all - copy - and paste the results in a new post here

yes, is has been done over... do you think you can help?

I've looked at the keyboard and mouse, I dont see anything wrong(when I can get them both to come on at boot-time) but they're loose at the connection.

thank you for all your help!

Yes startup list works with all o\s including 98se

Please read my instructions again and tell me exactly when the error occurs and post the error message "Full and Exact"

IT shows far more details than startup cop and may help us to pin point any problems
