I wanted to delete one of my user accounts (Windows Vista) But when I clicked User Settings, it refused to respond, so I tried the other opinions, They didn't work either. EVERYTHING with a little shield beside it does not respond. on the recent tasks it will say what I clicked, but that's pretty much it. I really need to know how to fix it.:mad::confused:

When in the Control Panel and the User accounts are listed, each account noted as to the type of account, what type of accounts are displayed in this window?

Well it appears to me that your system has protection set to NOT allow you to do much.
Can you tell us more about this machine, such as it is one at home, if the parents have a account that may be able to help you out?

I Have tried Every single Account, AND THE ADMIN ACCOUNT. It is set to where I cannot do Much, But before this It would ask me for a Password, Now it does not, And continues to do nothing, the same thing with the admin account, and Every Account That has those little Sheilds beside it. Is it Possible that they're Corrupt Files Causing this to Happen?

I Already Said that I had TRIED ALL of the accounts, AND YES I HAVE THE PASSWORD, AND YES IT IS THE CORRECT ONE, or I wouldn't be able to access the Admin Account, AND YES I do know which one is the admin because for a download It always asks for the Admin Account. Yes Other People have access to this computer, But I have the admin Account.

From your admin account, open a command prompt, type in this command: whoami /groups

See if the output shows "BUILTIN\Administrators" as one of the groups you belong to.
