OK.First I had a missing or corrupt command interpreter, and my win.com file was missing. Somehow (I don't know how) I managed to load Windows98. Now, alot of files are missing, my icons and fonts are so big I can't see the whole thing at once, and the computer isn't loading any graphics from web sites. I don't even know if I'm in the right forum because the words didn't show up, just little arrows. I may have really made things worse by installing win98 over win95, but I'm no pro! I'm finally on the net and can't enjoy it because the screen is enlarged and games and graphics won't work.HELP! I can't check back until I get to another computer (one that actually works) but please, send some reinforcements!

    Hiya

Have you checked to see if you have a virus:

    http://housecall.antivirus.com/housecall/start_corp.asp

Also, go to Control Panel | Display. Settings tab. Change the colour to 32-bit. Also, what is your screen size set to? The default is 800x600.

For the Web, try a repair:

Control Panel | AddRemove. Doubleclick Microsoft Internet Explorer. Choose Repair, apply and restart.

    Regards
