Running Windows 10 with HP 500 series. Have fast connection and perfect except 2 weeks ago, xxxxxxx takes 5 full seconds to load and all links on that particular site. All my other sites are perfect. Do I need a particular new driver? Please advise. Many thanks.
No, you do not need a new driver. Given that all other sites load at normal speeds, it is likely the website itself not loading fast, which you are referring to. Some websites take a bit longer to load than expected.
You might want to try flushing the DNS cache on your computer from the Administrator account.
How to flush the DNS cache:
Type in the following command from the Command Prompt and press, Enter.
ipconfig /flushdns
If the website still loads slowly, you will need to consider contacting the website's email contact regarding this issue.
If you have any other devices with browsers on them, check the site is affected on those. If you are able to see the site without issue, then you are looking at your computer. If it happens on all other devices, then the issue may be from the router and to the internet and beyond.
