Tony, thanks for your reply. The reason that I asked the question.....
Assume User-A has a Microsoft Outlook.com account and that User-A uploads files to the OneDrive using a Windows Laptop or PC. User-A wishes to share a Folder on the OneDrive (using the built-in OneDrive file-sharing) with User-B who uses an Android device to access the Folder. User-A provides User-B with a link generated by OneDrive file-sharing for this purpose.
Without the OneDrive Android App installed, when User-B (Android User) clicks on the link provided by User-A (Windows User), the OneDrive shared Folder is visible and all the files contained within the Folder are visible. Graphics (JPEG, GIF... etc.) are visible and document files are displayed with Icons appropriate to the format, for example, PDF.
However, as soon as User-B clicks on any file (including graphics such as JPEG) the Android device crashes. There is no error message or other behaviour that one may expect. The device simply crashes and requires a restart.
Will installing the App as described in my original post resolve this issue?
T.
