I'm not aware of ever having created a OneDrive account (nor an outlook.com account) but I just received an email saying my OneDrive account would be deleted because it hasn't been used in two years. I am running MS Office 2010 and never use cloud storage. Does this account get created automatically by some software Like MS Office 2010 or other? It's odd because I don't have any log in details for said account. I'm fine with it being deleted but would like to know how it got created in the first place so any input would be appreciated.

Could be phishing for your account info so they can go in and have a look?
What is the reply address for this email?

It comes from [email protected] and there are links to onedrive.com and windows.net in the text of the email. I believe it's legit.

Well that was it. I logged into my MS account and OneDrive was something that came with it and I never used. I'm just going to let it be deleted.

Thanks Dave. :)
