This one has me baffled. My connection to the internet is working. I have done an ipconfig and been able to ping any site. However, when I launch any of my browsers (IE 6, Netscape 7, or Opera) none of them can find a site. I have run Registry Mechanic, HiJack This, Ad-Aware, Spybot and cannot isolate the problem. My Outlook works fine, I can send and recieve without a problem. I have High Speed wireless internet connection that is always on. I am typing this from one of my computers that is on my internal network and this browser is working without a hitch. I have run out of ideas... HELP...

Now here is an even wierder twist. On the same computer I created a new user account. With that account I am able to get my browsers to work, but when I switch back to the primary account...nothing. I could use some ideas.

Do the download with the profile that works, make sure to put HJT in a folder you can access from the other account. Log on to the one that does not work, create the log, go back to the working one and post the log here :)

Create a folder on your hard drive for Hijackthis, like Program Files\HJT
Click on this link: http://www.net-integration.net/tools/hijackthis.html and download hijackthis. Save the file into the folder you have created.
Unzip the file to the folder.
Scan your machine, then click on Save Log.

Post a copy back here and someone will be happy to review it.

Don't make any changes until instructed to do so.
