online internet?

    I'm a college student and some people on campus have been watching tv from home on their computers. I was wondering if anyone could offer up some info on how i could do this. I have comcast digital cable and they said all i have to do is connect it to my router and access the ip. i'm confuzed.

    Are you saying they are watching their Cable TV at home from School?
    The only way I know how to do that is with Sling Box.

    yes. they said its fairly easy. i looked at my cable box and it has a lan port.
