I recently reformatted my computer, and fergot to save all the sites on my favorite list. I was using an online virus scan to scan my computer once a week since i don't have a virus scan program on my computer. Can anyone give me a link to a good online virus scan .. i believe that someone on this site gave me the site in the first place.

Also, my computer keeps saying that i have spyware on it ... does anyone know of a good program i can d/l to get rid of it?

Thank you soo much !! :)

here's the links to two good free full-featured AV programs you can install the only drawback is limited technical support for one with the free version. I use AntiVir with WinXP and below versions as well.

AntiVir at http://free-av.com (website is currently being moved) but you can download from it fine. click the Download button then the red/black AntiVir icon.

    or AVG at http://www.grisoft.com

    On-line virus scans?

Go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com or http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/com/activescan_principal.htm and click the Scan Now link to run a free on-line virus scan.
