Each time I click on photoshop CS and my Epson flat bed scanner I get two error messages. The first is Tvichw32 Driver Open Error. The second says "Cannot load ASPI Layer Driver." When I click on each of these they disappear and everything appears to work. Can any one suggest a way to get rid of these messages?

Thanks for thoughts. I have been to the adobe sites without success. Tried the others you suggested without results.

    Hi,

I have been dealing with exactly the same error for one of my customers and have just solved the problem.

You need to un install you scanner drivers (from add remove programs), disconect the scanner and the re-boot the machine.

Once re-booted down load the latest driver for your scanner from the manufacturers website and re-install. Most scanners require you to install the driver and then attach the scanner but this is not the case for all. Check the instructions when you down load.

NOTE: If you have multiple scanners, film scanners or other imaging devices you will need to remove them all in one go and the re-install them again - otherwise the corrupted DLL files will stay on the system. Also if windows asks you if you want to remove any unused files - select yes!
