I cannot remove Open Office from my system files!!!! What the...?
I get so far before getting an error message telling me I am not authorized and to check with support. I'm baffled. Easily.

What do you know about Open Office???

    Thanks!

Well, the thing that springs to mind is you're trying to do this in an account that doesn't have admin privileges. I've installed and uninstalled Open Office on a number of machines without issue.

Go into Control Panel, and open User Accounts. Under the name of the account you use, what does it say? If it doesn't say Administrator, then you don't have the right privileges.

Yes, I am the administrator... it says so! Nobody else ever uses my computer.
I will try to reach Open Office about this. It's taking up a lot of space!

    Thanks for your time.
