My new open type font won't show on the page in Word 2000. It's there in the font selection window, but when I type, it doesn't show up at all (yes, my font color is set to black/automatic). I still have use for the font in Photoshop, where it shows up just fine, and in my sitebuilding software, but I'm so disappointed that Word won't put in on the page, since this font is entirely trademark, copyright and other symbols that I need on a regular basis. Does anyone know if there's anything I can do about this?? Thanks so much for your help. Shoshana

Can you open it in the Font Viewer? Does other M$ programs like Paint read the font? How about Character Map? If you can read in Character Map, you can do a copy & paste.

It shows up in the font folder, and the character map shows some, but not all of the characters (half?). As I mentioned, all the characters show in Photoshop. I think I need to go back to the type foundry and buy the font as truetype. Ugh! More cash gone just at the holidays. No coins to jingle all the way! Thanks for your suggestions, blaqdeaph.
