    Hi :)

I was just wandering if anyone here knows a way, using javascript, to bypass the banner I have on top of my page somehow, like open the window beneath the banner.

Yes there are codes you can use-but you will not find them in the Javascript source. It sounds to me like you dont want to pay for web hosting and your is ad supported. The host doesnt put ads on your page and offer pay-for upgrade services so you can use JS to ignore their advertisements.
If this is what you are trying to do it would be against their TOS/EULA, they can detect it and your site would probably be closed down within a matter of weeks.

Well said Brendan. I was thinking the same thing when I was reading the post. The banner ad is the "price" you have to pay for the "free" webspace.

Geocities vertical banners are not so bad and they do close after a being on the page a while, or you can mostly close them.

A lot of ISP's will give you some free webspace and no banner ads. That might be worth looking into - check with your ISP.
