Hi

I run into a problem with software applications that use opengl, such as Google Earth. I get an error message which says "Driver components mis-match. Exit is the only option".

Funny coz i have an nvidia card. Its an old card. A Geforce 4 MX440 8X. I downloaded the drivers from the site, and when i install them, windows tells me the version on my computer is newer than the one i'm trying to install.

I know i can switch Google Earth to directX, but I'd like this problem resolved anyway.

I've played MOHAA on my pc before, on opengl, and it never crashed. But that doesn't run too now.

Many people are having problems with Google Earth.

If its really important to you then you should go to Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the NVidia display driver before attempting to install the new driver.

Was this the drier you tried installing: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_93.71.html
