opening a box!

    Im trying to open up the box to find out what graphics card is inside but its not a standard tall slim box, its the same size but it lays horizontal.. Does anyone know how to open these?

    Well, they either:

    1. Slide forward;

    2. Slide backward;

    3. or lift off.

    The trick is that there are either screws, clips, or tabs that have to be used to release the lid.

    You have the case in front of you, inspect it for any of the above.

    Also if you care to mention what make/mdl PC it is, then perhaps someone will be familiar with your exact case, or not???

    ok, i got it~ lol.. NOw... what does a graphics card look like?

    If it has a graphics card, it will be physically attached to the connector to the monitor.

    If the connector is attached to the motherboard, then it does not have a card, just "on board video"

    you could have just right clicked on the windows screen, go to properties, the settings tab, then click on advanced. then tab over to adapter. But it is always fun to open the box.
