A friend of mine has asked me to help him add a graphics card to his computer; an NEC PowerMate with a 900MHz Celeron processor. The problem I am having is that I can't see how to open the case! Can you help? Is there any relevant documentation?

Hello!

What model of Powermate is it? There are many different ones from over the years. I have an old desktop Powermate V166b for example. Is that one a desktop or a tower?

I don't know what the model is but it;s a desktop type box, though smaller than normal and designed to stand on its edge, with feet underneath. A sort of mini towering desktop box!

In other words it looks like a small desktop box but is on its edge. It is about a year old but the software on it suggests that it was actually built in 1999.
