I have folder with pictures in for a long time. I used to be able to click on them and they would open as a picture. Now when I double click on any of them I get giberish and little boxes, however if I right click on any of them and press preview the picture comes up. I also noted that now when I double click the giberish opens up in word pad. When I right click and preview, it opens up in windows picture and fax. How do I get my folders that have pictures to open up as pictures ? Any help will be appreciated....

Hello Mort
Right click on one of your files and from the list select Open With...
click on the button that says Select Program From List.
Select your program (for example Windows picture and fax viewer) and make sure you tick the box that says Always Use the Selected Program to Open this Kind of File.
Ok back out.
:)
