    Can anyone ell me what file the opera bookmarks are in ?

    opera6.adr

    Click File > Export and you can save them for backup anyplace you like.

    Just to add to that, if you have Opera 7 or above, it is still opera6.adr. Depending on which version of 7.x you have, it may be in C:\Program Files\Opera7 or C:\Windows\Application Data\Opera\Opera7\profile.

    FYI, a great program for moving bookmarks between Opera, Netscape, IE, or even just different versions of any of those is JetLinks.
