I am unable to run active X and my new scanner/printer/copy/fax says that my operating system does not match the supported operating systems. My pc is new, windows XP. I am sure it is probably just a setting somewhere but I don't know where!! Please help:confused:

    Hiya and welcome

For your scanner/printer/copy/fax, can you post the name and version? It may not be compatable. Did it come with the PC, or is XP an upgrade?

When you say you're unable to run ActiveX, is this online? If so, as you will have IE6, have you got the latest updates?

Also, if you do then we can change your security settings. Go to Tools | Internet Options. Security. Custom Level. Reset, Yes. OK.

    Regards
