When using one program (ie Word or Outlook) and choosing to insert a file (ie into a Word doc or adding an attachment to an email), the window opens and the cursor immediately jumps to the first FILE in the list - ie bypassing any folders in the window.
I don't think this is default behaviour - I seem to remember making an adjustment to achieve this by following a tip on a website devoted to Win98SE performance tweaks.
I probably thought it was a good idea at the time (now where have I heard that before). Now it's just a pain.
I can't find the site where I saw this info...so does anyone have any idea how I can undo whatever it was that I did?
In other words, when I insert I want the cursor to go to the first thing listed in the window - even if it's a folder.
