May be the result of an email file attachment that's simply too long, but I've had an email hanging in my "outbox" that refuses to complete, accept cancellation, etc and just continues to hang and run-on. You can hear the app running in the background (the hard drive) when you try to work a different program and slows everything down-

An error-type message (more like a notice) appears periodically to indicate that the mail cant be accessed because its working a different application. It suggests going in and out of windows or if that fails, restarting PC- have tried it- does nothing!

Anyone with a suggestion as to how I can put this thing out of its misery and either stop it or, preferably, remove it? As I've said, have tried everything sort of an uninstall and reinstall, but figured I'd just end-up where I last left-off-

    Many thanks for the assist!
