outlok express

    I a using winxp,having problems with outlook express,when I press send/rec button It will say in the receving mode for ever,I use another mail program and have not had any problems,only time Ihave any problems is when Iuse outlook express to receive mail,I was told I have a corrupted outlook express how can I solve this problem.

    Delete the account in OE . . then set it up fresh

    Thank you for the thought ,I have tried what you said with starting fresh ,did not help

    Try going to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs. On the left side click on Add/Remove Windows components. Remove the check beside Outlook Express and OK out. Re-start the pc and go back and replace the check. You will need to set up your account again.
