Ok, I developed a problem with Outlook Express. Started getting the error "cannot load Outlook Express because MSOE.DLL could not be loaded"

Was not able to resolve, so I already had Office 2000, so I installed Outlook to see I could go another route. It installed and my in-box is full of new messages, but the preview pane displays this message for all messages the inbox "these items contain active content that cannot be displayed in the preview pane. Open the item to read it's contents"

But when I click on any of the e-mails including the greeting from Microsoft, nothing happens. I also tried right clicking and selecting open and again no response, no error message, nada.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

Bahh, I left out important details. I had seen the first article but not the 2nd. Unfortanetly both apply to 98/ME and not Wk2 Sp3 that I am running. Neither windows components are located as their in 98/Me.

I am running Wk2 Sp3 and Outlook Express is not listed on my add/remove programs or under add/remove Windows Components. Outlook on the other hand is not listed individually but is included in Microsoft Office 2000 Premium.

To be honest, I don't need all of the features of Outlook (plus it reminds me of work too much) but I haven't found a way to uninstall/repair Express. At this point I would be happy if either worked.

I have tried using the Office disk to repair the Outlook install to no avail.
