Everytime I go to close outlook it will close from the screen however if i click on the task manager it shows it's still running. Also when I close windows down it makes me individually close all the outlook.exe files. Thanks for your help in advance. Currently I'm running XP and office XP.

I _think_ you have to disable "Office Startup" in the startup section of "MsConfig"

Start > Run > 'msconfig' > tab 'Startup'
