Everytime I open outlook to configure it with my email I get the message "Connection to the microsoft exchange server is unavailable. Outlook must be online to complete this action." Well considering that I haven't tried an action I don't know what it is talking about. It won't even let me into the menu. Once I click ok it pops up with a window wanting an exchange server address and a mailbox name. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but it still does the same thing.

I read the link 3/4 of the way down, but problem is it won't let me click anything but the windows that pop up on start up of the program. I did though try and change the server address in the window that pops up, like it said and now the program won't even open, it just hangs on start up.

What we have no idea on is if you have an exchange server or not, how you connect to the internet (is this a computer in a company, on a network that has a mail server?) or is this a home PC on cable, DSL or dial-up?

The assumption from my end is that its a corporate setup, given that the problem is under Business Applications but perhaps more info might help?
