I have a R61 Thinkpad running Vista SP1 w/2GB Ram and 55% free space. When I open Outlook 2003 Small Business Edition within 2 minutes it closes down by itself. I have no other issues with any of the other programs in Office 2003.
    I have run the following:
    chkdsk /r - no issues,
Office Diagnostics which found one problem,
SuperAntiSpyware which didn't find anything worthwhile
A full Symantec Anti-virus scan which found nothing

btw, when I open Windows Update it freezes and I am not able to access that window.
Outlook 2003 also closes automatically while in safe mode.

When I ran Outlook 2003 in Safe Mode it closed down also. My system restore options does not give me a restore before this problem started to happen. The problem existed before and after I installed SP1.

Any suggestions on how to get Outlook behaving normally will be appreciated.
