Anyone using Outlook 2010 Beta version? I have 2 Hotmail accounts set up, 1 works fine, the second used to but now no emails are downloaded into the inbox and it won't send. Clicking 'Send/ Receive' generates the error message 'Task '[email protected]' reported error (0x8004102A) : 'Error with Send/Receive.''. Have tried logging in and out of Windows Live account as suggested elsewhere but no change....thanks :) P.S. OS is Vista Home Premium SP2...

Hatstand, Sorry about the delay. I just installed Office 2010 beta and the Outlook connector.
At first it worked OK but then I got the same error message as you. However, I only get that message when OneNote is running in the bottom right taskbar near the clock.
When I disabled that I got no more problems.
Are you still having this problem or did you find your own way round it?

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to offer help! I've looked in the systems tray for the one note icon, but it doesn't seem to be there...i've never opened or used one note that came with the 201 Beta suite, maybe that's why i can't see it.

I think that's a false trail Hatstand, it doesn't seem to relate to OneNote., as I have started getting the error message again. Oddly enough though, even though I get the message I still get my mail...don't get it.
Thanks for your reply, if you have any luck I'd like to hear of it

Cheers
